Dr. Eitan Diamond – Board member

Dr. Eitan Diamond is the manager of the Diakonia International Humanitarian Law Centre in Jerusalem and a member of the Board of Directors of Parents against Child Detention which he helped to establish. He previously worked as an expert consultant  for UNICEF and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), among others. Prior to that he served as Executive Director of the NGO Gisha, as a Legal Advisor for the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Israel and the Occupied Territories, and as Researcher and Legal Advisor for B’Tselem.
Eitan has a PhD from the Meitar Center for Advanced Legal Studies at Tel Aviv University’s Faculty of Law, an LLM in Public International Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an LLB from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and is a recipient of a Diploma in Human Rights awarded by the Academy of European Law at the European University Institute.
