Dr. Daniel Weishut is a clinical psychologist in private practice and a senior lecturer at the Department of  Social Work at Hadassah Academic College, where he researches encounters. He is on the Advisory Board of Torture Journal and co-editor of Mikbatz Journal. Previously, he was chair of the Israel Association of Group Psychotherapy and Amnesty International (Israel). He is an EU-certified trainer of trainers in the documentation of torture according to the Istanbul Protocol, and he authored the book “Intercultural Friendship: The Case of a Palestinian Bedouin and a Dutch Israeli Jew”.
