2024 tested our organization and our mission like never before. In the
wake of October 7th and the subsequent war in Gaza, we witnessed
an unprecedented surge in detainees, the emergence of military
detention camps, and systematic abuse that shocked even seasoned
human rights defenders. Our team faced severe bureaucratic obstacles
to prison access, restrictions on legal representation, and a public
discourse increasingly marked by dehumanization. Yet throughout,
PCATI rose to meet the moment with unwavering determination and
remarkable results.
