PCATI will take an active part in the first Human Rights March in Israel organized by the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI).

During the week of June 26, the date that marks the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, PCATI conducted its annual campaign which this year focused on "Shackling as a Form of Torture and Abuse".

Following its success in Tel Aviv, The exhibition "Silence over the Abyss" is now being shown at the Barbur Gallery in Jerusalem.

The EMHRN Working Group on Human Rights Education, of which PCATI is a member, conducted a summer school on HRE methodologies in the context of conflict

On 14 and 16 July 2008, the Pubic Committee Against Torture in Israel (PCATI) took part in the "One Shekel Festival" ("Festival B'Shekel") events that took place in Tirat Ha'Carmel and Kiryat Malachi.

The Public Committee Against Torture in Israel (PCATI) held a special event in Tel Aviv to mark United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture (June 26th).

The four-part educational series on cinema and human rights will include the screening of new films on various issues concerning human rights in Israel and the world.
